James is the Owner, Principal Consultant, and Chief Analyst at WordWoven. First entering the marketing industry as a writer, he has obsessed over language and wording his entire life, and his dictionary-reading habits have since compelled others to joke that his brain was the original large language model. James brings 14 years of experience in writing, publishing, digital marketing, content strategy, lead generation, product marketing, marketing operations, branding, performance marketing, and communications management to the table, all of which have informed his approach to managing teams, growing businesses, and spreading ideas.

Despite a career spanning the most technologically-disrupted, transformative, and complex era of commerce the world’s ever seen, his track record proves he consistently employs a rare combination of quantitative, analytical, infrastructural, and technical marketing skills with exhaustive creative depth and original growth strategies that cost-effectively meet stakeholder objectives, expand products into new markets, and exceed key performance indicators for small and mid-sized businesses, from B2B organizations weathering heavily-regulated markets and ever-changing customer incentives to B2C brands with complex customer acquisition pipelines and vastly competitive product landscapes.

Greg Cole - CTO

Greg brings 20 years of experience in executive technology strategy and leadership to WordWoven. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Computer Science in 1998, he founded several startups, including Gigarush: a web development consultancy through which he’s served a wide variety of technological functions and executive leadership roles. Greg is widely considered to be one of the best webmasters in the US.
